The art of Frank Hoeffler

Our gallery is shaped by the vision of Frank Hoeffler, a classically trained master artist whose career spans nearly six decades. From his beginnings in Muskego, Wisconsin to international recognition as one of ArtTour International Magazine’s Top 60 Master Artists and recipient of the 2024 Artist of the Year and 2025 Art TITAN Master of a New Era awards, Frank’s work embodies both technical mastery and emotional depth.

His diverse style reflects a lifelong devotion to exploring beauty in its many forms. With exhibitions across the United States and Europe, a feature documentary on his life and artistry, and decades of mentorship within the creative community, Frank brings not only prestige but also a spirit of generosity and inspiration to the gallery experience.

“My latest series…

…is inspired by the cracks in cement sidewalks, a metaphor for the fractures and complexities in our personal lives. Through these textures and bold colors, I explore the delicate balance between calm and chaos.

Using a palette knife to build rich impasto surfaces, I aim to evoke strong, visceral emotions that resonate deeply with the viewer.

Painting is not just my passion, it is a vital, ongoing dialogue with the world around me. Everything inspires my creative impulse, fueling a lifelong commitment to the art I love.”

""Reminiscent" is an exhibition at d'Art Center that features contemporary impressionistic painting from across the country.
Impressionism is a style of art that uses light and color to capture a moment in time rather than a realistic image."
Some pioneers of impressionism include Monet, Renoir, Degas, and Cezanne. This exhibit will feature works from contemporary artists in this style.

This is a juried exhibition, and it will be curated by Gallery Director Amanda Bradley. Award winners will be selected by Juror and Artist, Janice Gay Maker
